翻译中的智能板块:语言板块

　　摘　要: 本文针对大学生翻译操作中普遍存在的word2for2word 现象,提出了解决的方法,即把双语转换看成跨过语言桥梁、寻找对应语———语言智能板块(一组意义相关的语符串) 的过程。
这样不仅可以使学生能敏锐地感悟语言的约定俗成性并将语言的搭配意义发挥到极致,而且还可以对阅读、口译、笔译、机器翻译以及搭配词典的编纂工作有启发和指导意义。

An Translation Approach by Applying Formulated Word - Unit Plates Concept

　　Abstract : Having observed the problem of word for word translation among the undergraduates , this author offers some effective solutions. That is : Take the translating process as crossing the bridge of English to Chinese or Chinese to English and look for the correspondent word unit (s) in another language : an translation approach by applying formulated word - Unit plates concept . (a group of frequently - collocated word units) . This method can not only make the students understand and become aware that language usage is established through its own language development , and thus formed its specific expressions , but also make them use established collocative word groups in translating conscientiously. Meanwhile , this concept can also be widely applied in reading , interpreter training ,translating practice , machine translating , and collocation dictionary compiling.

　　对于翻译,仅从字面上理解,无非是两种语言之间的语际转换,只要通晓两国语言文字及其基本语法就可执刀牛耳。然而,大量的事实却在显证此路不通。因为许多人学习英语近十年,有了不菲的词汇量和基本的语法知识,且有基本的翻译理论知识作指导,但翻译的文字仍然是译腔十足,尤其是汉译英中,汉式思维下的英式表达的错乱现象时有发生。究其原因,首先是对英汉两种语言约定俗成的表达习性认识不足;其次是对原文的风格定调、情韵寻味的总体神理、宏观把握不够。对此,本文拟就第一种问题寻求解决之途径。

　　解决翻译中存在的诸种问题,运用其智能板块不失为一种有效的方法。我们知道,要建成一座高楼,需要砖、瓦、水泥与钢筋合成的楼板块等,有了这些建筑板块,其操作就简便易行了。
